Rowing Shoes:

• Every rower will need their own personal rowing shoes. This will make sure everyone has properly fitting, functional, dry, sanitary shoe every time they row!
• Every Rower will bring their shoes with them, and take them home, every day.
• Each rower's rowing shoes will also need the BAT Logic Top plate to connect with the boats.
• Each rower should promently WRITE YOUR NAME on the OUTSIDE of the EACH SHOE with PAINT PEN

• How do I get my shoes?

  To save our members some money on a great pair of rowing shoes, IRC has Partnered with H2Row in Michigan. Call Don (734) 552-2663 at H2Row tell him you row for Indianapolis Rowing Center. Don will answer any questions, take your order, payment info, and you may receive a group bulk discount based on how many IRC rowers order. They will ship to the boathouse as one bulk package to save on shipping.

• What if I am just doing Learn to Row and want to "try before I Buy?"

  IRC owns a limited number of used rowing shoes for Learn to Row sessions. You are welcome to borrow the IRC shoes each day of your learn to row class and return them when you get off the water. When you decide rowing is right for you, we encourage everyone to buy their own shoes so you have properly fitting, functional, dry, sanitary shoe every time you row!
