IRC Guest Rower

At the Indianapolis Rowing Center, we are excited to welcome experienced rowers to join our community. We offer one complimentary coached practice with an IRC adult or youth team for visiting rowers.

To participate or to purchase a Punch Card, contact Coach Madison at coachmadison@indyrowing.org for registration instructions. The following requirements must be completed before practice.

 Guest Rower Requirements 

1. USRowing Membership

   Provide proof of a current USRowing membership. ➔ Join USRowing here and use Club Code U7B9H when registering.

2. Liability Waiver & Required Forms

   Submit all required waivers and documentation through iCrew upon registration prior to attending.

3. Practice Coordination

   • Adults: Contact Madison Waddle,  Head of Adult Programming, at coachmadison@indyrowing.org at least one week in advance. Submit all required documents via email.
   • Youth: Contact Julio Sanchez,  Head of Youth Programming, at coachjulio@indyrowing.org at least one week in advance. Submit all required documents via email.
     • Please include in your email
       • A brief summary of your rowing experience
       • How long it has been since you last rowed
       • The date you would like to attend

4. Experience Required

   Guest rowers should have prior rowing experience and be comfortable participating in coached practices.

Swim Test Requirement

All guest rowers must complete the IRC Swim Test Waiver Form prior to participation.

The form will be submitted through iCrew as part of the registration process.

Age Guidelines

Youth guest rowers must be at least 16 years old, unless pre-approved by the Head of Youth Programming.

Guest Rowing Fees (Beyond One Complimentary Practice)

If you would like to continue rowing after your first complimentary visit, a Punch Card is required.

Punch Cards are valid for Foundations or Performance practices only and are not available for Competitive practices or uncoached rows.

• 5 Rows – $120
• 10 Rows – $235
• 15 Rows – $345
• 20 Rows – $450
