Learn to row classes 2008
Who: Anyone! No memberships needed. 12 years old and older welcome. Non-profit group rates available Scholarships available (download scholarship form and submit with registration)
What: An overview of rowing a sculling, including how to row, how to scull, a history of the sport, and rowing safety information. Participants will be in a boat out on Eagle Creek Reservoir. Participants will leave with a working knowledge of the sport and a cool t-shirt!
When: 8:30-12noon. View calendar online at www.indyrowing.org for available Saturdays.
Where: The Water Sport Center at Eagle Creek Park Enter the park off of 56th Street (note you will have to pay the park entry fee) Take your first Left Water sport center will be on your right
Wear: Comfortable clothes, suitable for the weather. Please do not wear anything too baggy as loose clothing tends to catch in the boat. You may wish to wear sunscreen.
